About Different Softball Experience

Training with purpose. Playing with passion. Growing every day as an athlete and a person.

Hi, I’m Rylee Burgarello (Holtorf)

Founder of Different Softball Experience and a proud believer in training athletes to grow not just as softball players, but as confident young women.

I’ve spent the last four years playing Division I softball as the starting shortstop at the University of Washington and the University of Florida. During that time, I was also able to go to the Women’s College World Series twice and I was honored to be named to the All-Pac-12 Defensive Team, All-Freshman Team, First Team All-Region, and was a Gatorade Player of the Year in Arizona.

But the awards and the stats don’t define me — and they won’t define your daughter either.

What matters more is who we become through this game. That’s what “Different Softball Experience” is all about. I created this program to train infielders with intention — teaching elite-level skills while also building character, mental toughness, and a strong sense of identity that goes far beyond the field.

The word “Different” has always meant something special to me. Growing up, my parents taught us to live differently — to lead with kindness, to work with purpose, and to reflect Jesus in how we treat others.

Through my group lesson program, I help young athletes develop sharp infield skills, learn the game at a deeper level, and grow in confidence — week by week, rep by rep. Whether she’s dreaming of college softball or simply wants to love the game more, your daughter is welcome here.

I’d love to train her, challenge her, and encourage her to be Different — all for God’s glory.
